Manual installation of Neptune DXP - SAP Edition

You can perform each installation step manually to install Neptune DXP - SAP Edition.

To facilitate installation, Neptune recommends that you perform automated installation using the Neptune Setup Helper.
Before you install Neptune DXP - SAP Edition, check the system requirements to see if you fulfill the minimum requirements to run Neptune DXP - SAP Edition and carefully assess what is valid for your system.

Perform the following steps to install Neptune DXP - SAP Edition manually:

  1. Import the main installation transport

  2. Import SAPUI5 libraries

  3. Set up ICF services

  4. Enable lock handling for the App Designer in the Cockpit

  5. Enable authorization roles for Neptune transactions and the Neptune Cockpit

  6. Prepare license setup and activate license

  7. Verify sample app NEPTUNE_FLIGHT runs correctly
