Redis

DXP Open Edition , starting from v22.x onwards, enables to create solutions with EDA principles powered by Redis. DXP Managed Environments enables provisioning of managed Redis instances to be used in DXP Open Edition.

How-To

Provision

It is possible to create a Managed Environment pre-provisioned with a managed Redis instance.

  1. In DXP Portal, go to Managed Environments app.

  2. Follow the guide Create a Managed Environment.

  3. Select a version greater or equal to v22 DXP Open Edition version.

  4. On step 5. Optional, go to Redis Support, tick the Enable Redis checkbox box.

Toggle ON

After a Managed Environment is provisioned is possible to enable the Redis features on demand.

Only Managed Environments with version superior to v22 have enabled the Toggle ON/OFF option.
  1. In DXP Portal, go to Managed Environments app.

  2. Navigate to the Managed Environment.

  3. In the Administer DXP Cloud Managed Environment view, go to the Add-Ons tab.

  4. Click the Enable button.

  5. Press Confirm.

Toggle OFF

After an Managed Environment is provisioned is possible to disable the Redis features on demand. Disabling the Redis feature will also stop the consumption of the redis feature in Managed Environmnets.

  1. In DXP Portal, go to Managed Environments app.

  2. Navigate to the Managed Environment.

  3. In the Administer DXP Cloud Managed Environment view, go to the Add-Ons tab.

  4. Click the Disable checkbox.

  5. Press Confirm.

Pricing

The consumption is calculated based on the amount of hours it was used in a given month.
