Naia Build overview
Naia Build is Neptune’s AI-assisted development environment for building enterprise applications within the Neptune DXP platform.
It is embedded directly within the Neptune DXP - Open Edition App Designer, enabling you to move between natural language-driven generation and manual low-code editing within a single workspace. The two modes are complementary. Application state is continuous across both, and you can switch between them at any point without interruption.
Naia Build in the Naia ecosystem
Naia Build is part of the Naia for Developers feature set. It is concerned with application creation, for example, generating UI, logic, and data integrations via the App Designer.
Naia Agent Studio is a separate product within the Naia for Business feature set, used for configuring and maintaining AI agent logic.
The two products intersect at a defined point: Naia Build manages the UI placement and API connectivity of agents within an application. The agents' underlying logic and behavior are configured in Naia Agent Studio. Naia Build has no access to agent configuration.
AI model options
The following AI models are available in Naia Build, determined by account-level configuration:
-
Google Gemini is the default model. It is provided by Neptune, requires no API key configuration, and is available to all users out of the box.
-
Anthropic Claude provides enhanced output quality across all Naia Build capabilities. It requires a valid Claude API key to be configured at account level in the Neptune DXP Portal by yourself or an administrator, under the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model.
Usage is billed directly through Anthropic. Neptune proxies requests but does not assume responsibility for usage costs. Model selection is made at account level by yourself or an administrator. Individual developers select their model within the Chat tab once access is configured.
