Review history and revert changes

Aim: Use the History tab to maintain full visibility over every modification made during the development session, whether by Naia Build or by you manually, and safely revert to any prior state when needed.

Procedure

  1. Open the History tab.

Result: A chronological list of every change made to the application displays. Each entry corresponds to an AI generation step or a manual edit made in low-code mode of the embedded Neptune DXP - Open Edition App Designer interface.

  2. Read the auto-generated changelog.

Each entry in the History tab includes an automatically generated changelog describing what was modified, which components were added, updated, or removed, which log or bindings were changed, and which prompt or action trigged the modification. Use these descriptions to audit what Naia has built.

  3. Revert to a prior version.

If a generation step produced an undesired result, select the target history entry and select Revert.

Result: The application state is restored to that point. Your chat history is not affected, only the application state changes.

Use history as a safety net during experimentation. Before attempting an experimental prompt, for example, a major restructure or a broad styling change, note the current history entry number. If the result is wrong, you have a reliable point to without starting over.

Results

  • Every change made during the session is auditable and reversible. You have full visibility over the modification history, with the ability to compare versions and revert the application state to any prior point without affecting your chat history.

  • You have now completed the full Naia Build end-to-end scenario. The application is built, tested, documented, and ready to hand off - developed entirely within the Neptune DXP - Open Edition App Designer without leaving the Naia Build workspace.
