The Neptune Mobile Build Service is an automated online platform that allows users to create hybrid mobile applications compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems.

How the Neptune Mobile Build Service works

The Neptune Mobile Build Service simplifies the process of creating a hybrid mobile application by utilizing the .zip file generated from the Mobile Client within Neptune DXP - SAP/Open Edition, along with the necessary certificates. By leveraging this approach, the Neptune DXP Portal will generate the corresponding file, which is readily available for download.

Once the build successfully generates, you can access it by:

  • Scanning the QR which will download the application straight to the device

  • Downloading via a provided link

  • Downloading the application file directly (.ipa for iOS, .apk for Android, .appx for Windows)

Your user on the Neptune DXP Portal must be assigned to an Account in order to use the Neptune Mobile Build Service.
