Activate your online license

The License Configuration wizard in the System Settings tool enables you to manage your license. Your customer license is by default an online license.The validity is calculated based on your existing subscription period and payment terms + 30 days. The validity is automatically updated when the next subscription period starts.

Prerequisites

  • You are a customer of Neptune Software.

  • You have your customer ID at hand. You can find your customer ID in the Neptune DXP Portal, if you are an account admin, as follows:

    1. Select Account Assignments.

    2. Select the account that you want to manage the license for.

    3. In the General tab of My Account, you can copy your customer ID from the field License Customer ID.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to System Settings.

  2. Select the License tab.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Select Manage License.

    Result: The License Configuration wizard opens.

    Any license change will trigger a page reload.
  5. In step 1, confirm the note by selecting Step 2.

  6. In step 2, Online License is active by default. Confirm by selecting Step 3.

  7. In step 3, enter your customer ID and confirm by selecting Step 4.

  8. In step 4, select the environment in the license you want to activate and confirm by selecting Save and Reload.

Result

After the page reload the license will be active in the system and you will have access to the full platform.

To make sure the system is fully operational, wait until the System Settings tool is reloaded.
