It is recommended that an LTS (Long-Term Support) version be used in a production environment for maximum stability and support. However, if the go-live date for a project is significantly beyond the release date of the next LTS version, it is advisable to begin development on an innovation version. This allows for the incorporation of new features and technologies while ensuring a stable LTS release at the time of go-live.
