Configure general settings of a Slidetile/RSS Feed tile

In this topic, you learn how to add and configure a tile with the type Slidetile/RSS Feed.

Prerequisites

In the Cockpit, go to Administration and click Tile.

Result: The table of existing tiles open.
Click Add.

Result: The Create Tile dialog opens.
Enter a title for your tile.
Click Create Tile.

Result: The tile is created and the settings of the tile open in the Settings tab.
Select Slidetile/RSS Feed as a Type for your tile.
In the Slidetile/RSS Feed tab, you configure the settings of the RSS Feed you want to display. You can enter the URL of the RSS Feed and select the feed autoplay speed.
In the RSS2JSON tab, you can link a rss2json API key.
In the Information tab, you provide general information about your tile. The information given here are displayed on the tile on the Launchpad.
In the Tile in toolbar tab, you can set an alternative title of your tile that is shown in the toolbar. You can also hide the tile in the toolbar.
In the Visibility tab, you can decide whether your tile should not be displayed on a certain device.
In the Hide Launchpad Header tab, you can decide whether the Launchpad header should not be displayed on a certain device.
Click Save.
