Add a custom action

In this topic, you learn how to add and configure a custom action.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Administration and click Custom Action.

    Result: The table of existing custom actions opens.

  2. Click Add.

    Result: The Custom Action dialog opens.

  3. Enter a Name for your custom action.

  4. Click Create Action.

    Result: The settings of the custom action open in the Layout tab.

  5. In the Layout tab, you can change the name of your custom action. You can add a toolbar icon and a toolbar text, which are displayed when you right-click the assigned tile in the Launchpad.

  6. In the Script tab, enter the script that you want to run when you execute your custom action.

  7. In the Where-used tab, you can monitor to which tiles your custom action is assigned.

  8. Click Save.

Results

  • You have added and configured a custom action.
