Create an OData mock data artifact
In this topic, you learn how to create a mock data resource with the OData Mock Data tool.
Procedure

In the Cockpit, select the OData Mock Data tool.
Result: A table with all the OData mock data resources is shown.

Select Create.
Result: The Create Dataset dialog opens.

In Name, enter a meaningful name for the OData mock data resource.

Select Create.
Result: You start in the General tab of the OData mock data resource.

In Package, assign the OData mock data resource to a package of artifacts.

In Description, enter a meaningful description for the OData mock data resource.

To make the OData mock data resource available in the App Designer, select Use in App Designer.

Select Save.
Results

Your OData mock data resource is saved with the current settings. The OData Mock Data tool adds an ID to your OData mock data resource and saves change dates.
