Connectivity and external usage of agents
Agents that you build in Neptune DXP - Open Edition can be interfaced with through the A2A protocol.
To enable A2A-based access on any agent, go to the Connectivity tab and enable the agent to be A2A-connectable.
The base URL of any agent is [PROTOCOL]://[HOST]/api/AIBuildersKit/AIAgent/[AGENT-ID].

Configuration of the agent card
Within the Connectivity tab, you can decide to expose all tools as agent skills, and/or set up your own set of skills that describe the capabilities of the agent to any caller.
Furthermore, you can provide information about the provider of the agent.
| The configuration of "skills" and provider information is purely to provide information to external agents/users. It does not have any impact on the functionality of the agent. The agent can use tools/vector sources, etc., independent of how you configure the skills. |
