Add a new substitution

In this topic, you learn how to add a new substitution for an approver.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, select the Substitutions tool.

    Result: A table of substitutions is shown.

  2. Select Create.

    Result: The Create Substitution dialog opens.

  3. In User, select the user you want to be replaced.

  4. In Substitute, select the user that you want to receive the inbox item instead.

  5. In From - To, select the time span for the substitution.

  6. Select Create.

    Result: You start in the General tab of the substitution.

  7. To enable the substitution, turn on the Active switch.

  8. Select Save.

Results

  • You have created a new substitution for an approver.
