Create translations for an attribute on the basis of defined locales
Prerequisites

You have created an attribute for translation.
Procedure

Go to the I18n Text & Translation tool and select your created global i18n model.

Go to the Translations tab.

To define the locales that you want to maintain for the application, select Maintain Locales.
Result: The Maintain i18n Locales dialog opens with a list of defined locales (language variants standardized according to their official ISO codes). The fallback locale that governs the language of text to display if a certain locale translation is not filled displays at the top of the dialog and cannot be deleted.

To add further locales to translate, select Add Locale, select the locales that you want to add, for example,
EL Greek,PL Polish, andTH Thai, and select Add Locales. -
Select Update.
Result: The attribute displays with the attribute type and base text. Further columns display the selected fallback locale and defined locales for translation.

Translate the attribute in one of the following ways:

Manually enter a translation into individual locale fields. For example, for the base text
Home, in the locale Polish, enterStart. -
Machine-translate one or multiple attributes via Google Translate by selecting the checkbox next to the attribute (or select all attributes, if required) and select Google Translate. In the Available Locales dialog, select the available locales to translate, and select Translate.
