Chatbot integration in Neptune DXP - Open Edition

The Chatbot tab in the Launchpad tool was deprecated in Neptune DXP - Open Edition version 24.14.0. Select the Agent tab to take advantage of the built-in Naia for Business integrated agentic chatbot interface for launchpads and maintain compatibility with upcoming releases.

This topic provides an overview on how to configure chatbots in Neptune DXP - Open Edition. You can integrate a chatbot into any launchpad.

If you integrate a chatbot into your launchpad, it appears in the bottom right corner of the launchpad, floating above the tiles.

Neptune DXP - Open Edition supports the use of the following chatbots:

  • SAP Conversation AI

  • IBM Watson Assistant

To use them, set up an account at SAP or IBM and generate a token to connect your chatbot with Neptune DXP - Open Edition.

In your Launchpad, go to the Chatbot tab and insert the token and necessary IDs.
