Configure general information about your tile
In this topic, you learn how to set general information about your tile.
Procedure

In the Cockpit, select the Tile tool.
Result: A table of existing tiles is shown.

Select Create.
Result: The Create Tile dialog opens.

In Name, enter a meaningful name for the tile.

If you want to place your tile in the Cockpit, select Cockpit Tile.
In the Tile Group tool, you must select Cockpit Tile Group when creating a tile group to be able to place a tile within a tile group in the Cockpit. -
Select Create.
Result: You start in the Settings tab of the tile.

In Package, assign the tile to a development package of artifacts.

In Type, select what type of application/integration the tile is. The default is
Defaultbut you can also select the following:- Application

An application created in the App Designer. This will run the app in the tile.
- Adaptive Framework

An application created in the Adaptive Designer. This will run the app in the tile.
- Client Installation

A client installation acts like an internal app store. You can use it to distribute mobile clients to the end user.
- Integration Card

Add custom SAP Integration cards.
- Highchart and Highstock
-
Runs a Highchart or Highstock graph inside a tile.

In Visibility, choose one or more of the options as to whether to hide the tile when viewed on desktop, tablet, or on a smartphone.

In the Information tab in Information section, you can enter a title, subtitle, details (in plain text or text in HTML format),status , tags, and role tags for a tile.

In the Open Button section, you define what text or which icon is displayed on the start button of the tile.

You can bind the contents of Title, Subtitle, Details, Status, Open Button Text, and Open Button Icon to a global i18n model to localize tile information and open button content. The binding of global i18n models to fields replaces the deprecated Translation tab in the Tile tool. Attributes bound to a global i18n model for localization for the Title, Subtitle, Detail, and Status fields display the binding icon () in the Tile tool list view. |
