With Connector, you publish data sources to be used in the Adaptive Designer and App Designer.

You set up a connector by selecting a data source that you want to integrate into an application, and defining inputs and outputs of data sources. Data sources are database tables from Table Definition, scripts from Server Script, and APIs from API Designer or SAP API Factory.

While setting up a connector, you can add documentation that describes the connector and data source. The documentation is displayed in other services to help you use the connector.

Once you add a connector for a data source, you can use the connector for as many adaptive applications or App Designer applications as needed.

Notes

Connectors can be viewed within the App Designer without an Edit access control permission on a user. This is so they can be selected and integrated.

Running a connector does not require an ACL rule.
