Edit an existing authentication method

In this topic, you learn how to edit an existing proxy authentication method.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Security and click Proxy Authentication.

    Result: A list with all existing authentication methods is shown.

  2. Click on the authentication method you want to edit.

  3. Click Edit.

    Access might be restricted to you, in which case a corresponding dialog appears. Click Yes, it´s me, unlock or unlock the record in the Lock Entries service.

  4. You can change the settings of the authentication method.

  5. Click Save.

Results

  • You have edited an existing authentication method.
