MCP server connection details
The following values are used when connecting to an SAP Integration Hub MCP server from a compatible client. Which values are required depends on the client. Refer to the relevant connection procedure for details.

SAP Path |
The path to the MCP server on the SAP backend system. Found on the General tab in the Hub MCP Designer. |
Open Edition Path |
The path to the MCP server when routed through the Neptune DXP - Open Edition system. Found on the General tab in the Hub MCP Designer. |
Remote System ID |
The ID that identifies the backend SAP system to the Open Edition system, with authentication configured. Found on the Remote System tab in the Hub MCP Designer. |
Bearer token |
The API token that identifies your user when connecting to the Neptune DXP - Open Edition system from external tooling. Generated in the User tool. Enable the token, select a duration, and select Generate Token. Store the token securely after generation. |
