Connect to SAP Integration Hub in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Neptune DXP - Open Edition connects to the SAP Integration Hub add-on in your SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition tenant as a remote system. You create the remote system once and use it for every API. You perform these steps in the Neptune DXP - Open Edition Cockpit as a Neptune DXP administrator.

This is step 4 of installing and configuring SAP Integration Hub in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The steps in the SAP tenant are described there.

Prerequisites

  • Neptune DXP - Open Edition 24.15 or higher is installed, with a license extension that covers SAP Integration Hub.

  • The SAP administrator has installed the add-on and created the communication arrangement, and has given you the following:

    • The inbound service URL generated by the communication arrangement

    • The communication user and its password or certificate details

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, open Remote Systems and select Create.

  2. Enter a name, and in the type, select Neptune DXP - SAP Integration Hub.

  3. Enter the inbound service URL as the base URL, and select Create.

  4. On the Authentication tab, select Add and select a proxy authentication.

If no suitable proxy authentication exists, create one first in Proxy Authentication. Use Basic with the communication user and password for initial testing and non-productive systems.

  5. Save the remote system.

Result

The remote system is available in the Hub API Designer. The Hub MCP Designer cannot be used with an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition tenant.

Next steps

Verify the connection end to end with a test API, as described in Verify the configuration.
