Create a load test

In this topic, you learn how to create and edit a load test.

Prerequisites

  • You have an API that you want to test.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Monitoring and click Load Test.

    Result: The table with the available load tests open.

  2. Click Add.

    Result: The settings of your load test open.

  3. Enter a Name for the load test.

  4. Enter the URL of the API that you want to test.

  5. Specify the METHOD by which the API is tested. Available are: GET, POST, and PUT.

  6. In Settings, you can define the test conditions for your API.

  7. Click Save.

To simplify the creation of new load tests, you can click Copy to create a copy of the load test under a different name.

Results

  • You have created a load test.
