Configure general information about your mobile client

In this topic, you learn how to configure general information about your mobile client.

Prerequisites

In the Cockpit, select the Mobile Client tool.

Result: A table of existing mobile clients is shown.
Select Create.

Result: The Create Mobile Client dialog opens.
In Name, enter a meaningful name for the mobile client. The name of the mobile client refers to the name of the mobile client artifact in the system.
In Launchpad, select the launchpad you want to create the mobile client for.
Select Create.

Result: You start in the General tab of the mobile client.
In Description, enter a meaningful description for the mobile client.
In the Files section, define which optional assets are included in the mobile client build.

These settings control the content and size of the generated build archive. By excluding libraries that are not required by your application, you can reduce the overall archive size.

Select or deselect the following options as required:
- Include OpenUI5
- Include Highcharts
- Include Bootstrap
  
  These settings apply to all builds created for this mobile client unless they are changed later.
In the Author section, provide information about the creator of the mobile client.

This automatically displays name/email from the user information.
Select Save.

These details are reflected in the config.xml and package.json within the produced build.
