Assign an authentication method

In this topic, you learn how to assign the authentication method to an API.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Connectivity and click API Designer.

  2. Select the API you want to assign an authentication method to.

  3. Navigate to the Authentication tab.

  4. Click +Add.

  5. In API Authentication, click the method you created before.

  6. Click Save.

Results

  • You have assigned an authentication method to your API.
