Add a new theme

In this topic, you learn how to add a new theme.

Prerequisites

In the Cockpit, go to Design and click Theme Designer.

Result: A table with all existing themes is shown.
Click Add.

Result: The settings of the theme open.
In the General tab, enter a name and a description and choose a package for your theme.
Choose a base theme for your theme.

Choose the theme which is closest to the design you want to achieve. You will not edit the standard theme itself. Rather, you will adjust a copy of it and save it under a new name.
In the CSS tab, you can insert your own CSS rules.
Click Save.
