Insert an interface to the PDF Designer

In this topic, you learn how to insert an interface to the PDF Designer. With an interface, you define areas that contain data that could be called via an API.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

Make sure your PDF template is in editing mode. To put your PDF template in editing mode, click the toggle to edit icon.

Add an interface

  1. In the PDF Document Settings tab, click Add.

  2. Enter a name and a description for the interface.

  3. Select a type for the interface.

    Result: You have added an interface.

Import an interface

  1. In the PDF Document Settings tab, click JSON Import.

  2. Enter the JSON data you want to import.

  3. Click Import.

Results

  • You have imported an interface.
