Add an authentication method to a remote system

In this topic, you learn how you add an authentication method that you have configured in Proxy Authentication to a remote system.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Security and click Remote Systems.

    Result: The Remote Systems window opens with a table of available remote systems.

  2. Click Add.

    Result: The Remote Systems configuration page opens.

  3. Go to the Authentication tab, and click add.

    Result: The System Authentication dialog opens.

  4. In Role, select the role of the remote system.

  5. In API Authentication, select the authentication method that you have created in Proxy Authentication.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click Save.

Results

  • You have added an authentication method to a remote system.
