Create a group

In this topic, you learn how to create a connectivity group for APIs and OData resources.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Connectivity and click Connectivity Group.

  2. In Connectivity Group, click Add.

    Result: The Connectivity Group settings open. You start in the General tab.

  3. Enter a meaningful Name.

  4. Assign the connectivity group to a package of artifacts in Package.

  5. Enter a short and meaningful Description.

  6. Click Save.

Results

  • Your connectivity group is saved with the current settings. An ID is assigned to your connectivity group and the changes are saved.

  • Connectivity Group adds your connectivity group to the list of available groups in other services. You can now assign APIs and OData resources to this connectivity group when you create or edit them in API Designer and OData Source.
