Export a deployment package

In this topic, you learn how to export deployment packages.

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites.

Procedure

  1. In the Cockpit, go to Deployment, and click Deployment Transfer.

    Result: The Deployment Transfer window opens.

  2. In the Status column, click the package that you want to export.

    Result: The Deploy window opens.

  3. Click Export.

Results

  • Deployment Transfer creates a planet9 file out of the deployment package that your browser downloads automatically.

It is important to address that you cannot export development packages through the Development Package tool. However, you can export a deployment package from Deployment Transfer which can contain a development package and can then be imported in Deployment Log.
