Create an authentication method in Neptune DXP - Open Edition

In this topic, you learn how to create an authentication method based on the certificate in Neptune DXP - Open Edition.

Prerequisites

In the Cockpit, go to Security and select Proxy Authentication.
Select Add.

Result: The Authentication settings window opens.

Details of how to add an authentication method are described in the documentation.
Enter a Name and X.509 as Type.
Go to the X.509 tab.
In Sign with, select the certificate you created.
In Assign user field to CN, select email.
Fill in the other fields with the same data you used for the certificate.
Select Save.
